What is known about Marc Goossens, other than his untimely death after the picture was taken? It sounds like he was born in Belgium. Was he trained by the Belgian Military? What were the circumstances of his death? Where was he interred?

    • Viviane Van develde says:

Marc was my friend, very goodharted .He had a normal military service in Belgium,he was a boxer and had an accident with a student who was drunk ,he pushed him ;the student fell unfortunately with his head on a bordes and died .Marc had to stay 1 year in prison and decided when he was free to join mercenaire organisation.Marc did not die in a battle, he was robbed the day he was paid, the killers took also his watch.Despite he took care of a little orphan boy ,the killers dindn’t have any merci.Thats al I know viviane.van.develde@telenet.be
