The Nigerian Army yesterday warned against the attitude of some members of the society who are in the habit of evading military checkpoints as well as
joining official convoys on the
highways.
A statement signed by the director of army public relations, Major-
General Isa, said the consequence of this practice is not only a breach of public security but poses grave danger and risk of attacks on security personnel.
It is common knowledge now that
criminals and those engaged in terror attacks in the country employ this and other methods in launching surprise attacks on security personnel on duty. He
advised the general public to note that criminals and attackers do employ ways and means to bluff their way through security checks in order to carry out their
nefarious activities or evade arrest.
On the other hand, military and other official convoys are advised to bring up the tails of their convoys in such a way that
no intruder joins up. Finally, members of the public are advised to desist from joining official convoys illegally as it is now dangerous to do so.

Nigerian security need
proper control in any checkpoint. every person much be check. may God help us.
Or maybe they should be saying that even if your in an official convoy you will be checked?
When alleged BH members are found in governors lodges and with army officers and allegedly BH leaders use posh cars to evade checkpoints isn’t that just common sense
