PROFORCE produce fully armoured B6+ level light-role Patrol Vehicles. The firm is a wholly Nigerian-owned company based in Ogun State, with a core team of expatriate armouring technicians teaching Nigerian nationals state-of-the-art armouring techniques.
PROFORCE already have a partnership arrangement with DICON, which is expected to flourish very soon.
PROFORCE’s agenda is to build fully Mine Resistant Ambush protected vehicles

Alun, methinks I have seen the up-armoured Hilux deployed by the Anti-Kidnapping Squad of the Nigeria Police Force’s Delta State Command.
Also fitted with GPS, signal tracking and jamming devices, I could tell BY SIGHT that it was some armoured machine. They are painted in navy blue colour, giving them the ‘security forces’ appearance.
Meanwhile, the PF3 Amotekun looks like the Mahindra Marksman. It only likes a cupola from what I see here. Do Proforce have prototypes which are expressly configured for urban CTCOIN patrols?
Also i found something online that stated that LASG either bought things from them or has a contract to acquire speedboats from them
its in this budget thing http://www.stb.lagosstate.gov.ng/STB1.htm
Thanks for sharing, BossJoe. Do keep an eye on the UN Register for us. The entries for the previous year normall fall due in June.
will definetly try my best general
AMOTEKUN PF3
MAHINDRA MARKSMAN
me thinks it also looks a similar to this

The Proforce looks like its based on am extended Landrover chassis. It doesn’t have angled sides of the Mahindra type, so it looks like its geared purely for police work.
Very happy to see this, well done to the Proforce boys I hope they have more info and get a website and PR package up
thumbs -up to the Proforce Boys too. i strongly believe our friends at the Louis Edet House now have a relieve sign for Nigeria’s customised APCs, procurement, maintenance etc
@ Peccavi: they definitely came up with a website pls check it out – http://www.proforcedefence.com/
D up-armoured vehicle is been use as bullion van or escort 2 bullion van in lagos. I usually c dem
Gents, the Amotekun’s design is very different from the Mahindra. If Mahindra’s chassis and running gear are anything like TATA’s i.e. Indian, then expect them to fall apart. Amotekun uses the Toyota chassis with fantastic off road ability speed and agility it is ideal for urban/ rural/ reconnaissance missions and seats 8 people comfortably.Proforce will shortly be unvailing the new generation Amotekun along with a range of MRAPV vehicles for the military
I posted before looking http://www.proforcedefence.com/
Thanks Alun for your insight I presume you have some sort of a connection so I will now bombard you with questions (sorry)
How much is actually Nigeria or is it just assembled?
Does the Amotekun have a top cover hatch and can a weapons mount be attached?
The wheelbase seems a bit low for offroad recce work, how does it perform and what is its anti mine capability. It is obviously not a dedicated APC but what level of protection do you think it can provide from an IED
Is it air conditioned??????
Do you have more photo’s?
Thanks
if you say theey are unveling the new generation version of this, then are you saying this is a prototype?
Nice one, Alun.
From what I see here, what you guys seek to do is replicate the kind of factories in South Africa such as OMC and OTT which have produced Mamba and Puma M26 MBPVs based on Unimog 416 and Tata chassis. Your intentions, discountenancing the profit considerations, are NOBLE regardless and represent a step in the right direction.
We shall support your efforts by providing adequate coverage for your activities.

Kudos to proforce. Any made in nigeria project is a positive development. I hope they use as much local content as possible.
It is demand from such industries, that would make ajaokuta steel complex financially viable.
However, the designs on offer, seems to address nigeria’s law and order issues.i.e police protection against AK-47 wielding armed robbers & kidnappers.
We are yet to see designs that address mortar & artillery based IEDs, and shaped charge projectiles such as the RPGs.
The US experience in iraq, would be a wise template for us to use in anticipating the evolution of insurgent anti armor tactics.
None of the examples on offer are designed to survive an iraq style environment. Which is clearly where we are headed to in northern nigeria.
We support PROFORCE 100%.
Thanks to the guys at Proforce for doing us proud in Nigeria. Now our security personnel can be placed in protected vehicles while serving us and the cost of protecting them will be cheap.
Mr. Presido and all State Govs please take note! Locate and patronize these guys and show patriotism that you are always telling fellow Nigerians to have. Charity begins at home .
Naija leaders over to you, ok?
