Just as the Police in Sokoto are battling to contain the two incidents of bomb blasts, which occurred in the morning hours of yesterday, some unknown gunmen attacked the Arkilla Divisional office this evening at about 6.55pm.
According to Vanguard sources, two people approached the police division on a motor bike and opened fire and the Police also fired back and an exchange ensued. When Vanguard contacted the PPRO,DSP Sani Salihu, he confirmed the story but said that no casualty was recorded.
“This is true. Two unknown gunmen went to the Division on a motorcycle and started firing. There was exchange but, as I talk to you now, no casualty has been reported,” Salihu said. Meanwhile, security has been beefed up in Sokoto metropolis.
Its obvious from this present scenario that BH know no bounds and have stretched their rampage from NE to NW of Nigeria and probably will soon extend same to SE and SW of Nigeria.
Its left for 2 people to prove their worth in their selection as the nation important security person, by proving that the task bestowed on them was not a fluke or based on tribal sentiments to pacify a group.

I have never believed in dialogue with a faceless group or one using violence to propagate its agenda.
This is the time for the President to isolate and consume the group by way of its last irresponsible action which will definitely isolate and pitched highly placed indigenes of the north against them.
It will be interesting to see what the people of Sokoto,Jigawa etc will do in response to this latest siege on their great city.
BH have made their point and intentions very clear, what is left is how do the Government, the Caliphate, the people of Sokoto and the nation security apparatus react ? the die has been cast, i have long waited for this because when they started attacking christians they were all mute, they attacked Kano they called for dialogue and now an attack on Sokoto what will they say?
