Hope they will be supplied body armours in the Mali conflict.
The paltry numbers of photographs and footage the nigerian army has to show for a decade long ecomog interventions, is an absolute indictment of the utility of the nigerian army public relations, and the nigerian media in general.
As an observer of global conflicts, and it’s coverage, it’s the worst performance I have seen.
Well, may be it’s on par with the coverage of the angolan civil war. cause other than the footage of the south africans, first as soldiers(SADF), then as mercenaries/PMCs, (EO), there is precious little MPLA or cuban driven coverage.

Angolan Civil war during the ‘Cold War’
is well documented, that was a
propaganda pre-requisite no way a’ big
man’ like Mr Castro would miss an
opportunity like that, trust me that
film-rolled up to inside the UN chambers
Youtube does host quite a few, checkout the ‘Battle of Quito Cuanavale’ it is well
disseminated, complete with on the
sideline’s ‘punditry’
Nice tidy watch though
