NIGERIAN NUCLEAR AGENCY WANT POLICE TO PROTECT INSTALLATIONS

The Chairman of the Nigeria Atomic Energy Commission(NAEC), Dr. F.Erepamo Osaisai, has called on the police to increase surveillance and security of the commission’s projects and facilities especially at the Nuclear Technology Centre (NTC) located at Sheda, Abuja.

Osaisai made the appeal when he received the FCT Police Commissioner, CP Adenrele Shinaba, who visited him on Friday. He said that the site has in store sensitive nuclear facilities that should not be allowed to fall into wrong hands.

Earlier, Shinaba said he was in NAEC to intimate the commission of the command’s resolve to protect the facilities and provide security of lives and property within the FCT. .
