    • jimmy says:

      oga beegeagle
abi you dey vacation we know hear from you in quite a while man know say the last three weeks dey very hetic pele ( sorry o) I hope say everything dey okay.

  2. wocon45 says:

    Epic shots!

  3. Oga beeg were are theses foreign media guys getting the idea that our military is 76 thousand!

  4. Nigeria police deploying to Mali…the everyday policeman on the streets compared to these guys on their way to Mali are a sharp contrast and a big Irony!

    • peccavi says:

      Nice slick drills.
Pity they dont seem to use flashbangs or CS gas in hostage rescue but the drills looked good anyway

      • Henry says:

The drills have nigerian army written all over it. The police men look really good, unlike the every day “ojor men” we see in our streets.

They look sleek and well kitted, training is nice. All in all good.

    • eyimola says:

I don’t know why we keep sending the best Police Men in the country overseas, especially in the context of the high crime rate and insecurity in the country.

  5. tim says:

I know after the fighting begun, a senior customs officer was arrested, and an army officer was arrÉsted for giving BH,the itinery of troops going to mali, remember that 2 soldiers died in that, and I am also away of some other arrests.

    • eyimola says:

I’m calling bullshit on that one. Apart from the whole ‘politicians are sponsoring Boko Haram to destabilise GEJ thing, I am confident that information dissemination within the KTF is highly segregated. Its one thing being able to establish that a division is being deployed overseas, quite another to ascertain up to date information regarding potential raids. Especially since a raid on a high value target like Shekau is more than likely going to be impromptu.

    • eyimola says:

I am pretty certain there are BH sympathisers within the military.

  6. cy99 says:

Is that an MRAP at 1:58 in the Nigeria Police video?

  7. Tope says:

Guys what do u think of edward Snowden’s Leak of US Surveillance project called PRISM….for me i smiled, We have always known they Spy on their Citizen and the World…..its been over played in So many movies so whats new? China Hacks them and now this……the US Intelligence Has come under attack but many see him as a Hero for Privacy Act……lets see how things go.

  8. tim says:

Am hearing some news about youths going after BH members, if this is true that is a good news, reminds me of kamajor’s in sierra leone……. Or could 7million usd, be the motivator?

  9. Henry says:

No, I don’t think the money is the motivating factor. Abubakar shekau has had a 50 million naira bounty placed on his head for sometime now. If the youths were doing it for the money, they should have been motivated by the 50 million, FGN placed on him.

The insecurity has reached a tipping point, restrictions and lack of trust the situation has bore, has led citizens and youths in particular to take action. The military surge and the successes which it has recorded provides the best template for citizens do act without fear of reprisal from boko-haram.

  10. tim says:

Come sef, where is gen beeg? Dude has been quiet.

    • Henry says:

That’s the same question I was asking myself yesterday. Where oga beeg come go? This is going to be the second full day of his absence.

  11. makanaky says:

I have been thinking cause he complained last week someone is tempering with his blog, may be he cannot put anymore info for now ! please somebody ask him backstage.

  12. Henry says:

Beeg is not responding backstage oh. I sent him 2 email messages, yet no replies.

    • jimmy says:

I sent him a message yesterday even though he has not responded hopefully he is just taking a few days off. i think he will be back soon.

  13. tim says:

Nobody has his personal contacts? I hope BH has not haramed him for ransome…. I hope he is okay, if any one has his phone number or email, other than the one he gives to us bloggers, please hala at him.

  14. Saints says:

I do believe Oga beeg felt his ownership of this site was being threatened when on june 19/13. after posting a supposed monumental stride taken by the NAF. he deviated from the usual and first of all reported that his blog was being attacked. That was at exactly 12:28pm. After saying this he went ahead to comment on standing issues as the administrator and moderator of the blog. Then at 6:04 pm. He made a quick and sharp comment on this post. Jimmy replied his comment but there was no responce (very unusual). Last comment was june 9. At 9:56 pm… Generals i think we need to take this internet bug issue seriously. Cus he alluded to that being a limiting factor in his comment here.

    • Henry says:

Oga Saints, you are correct. However, that shouldn’t affect his email address.

Lmao @ TIM, that’s impossible now. I’m sure Gen beeg is in lagos, so no way boko boys fit reach the general. Besides GEN beeg, go just kung fu them.

Same here as TIM though. if anyone has his contact hala at me.

      • igbi says:

        I hope Beegs is fine.

      • Donian007 says:

Mehn, Gen Beegs absense is quite unusual but me believe he’s fine. I too know he talked about the interference. Maybe he’s working on it. @Gen Tim, no think am o, we go just do rapid parachute insertion surround Lag o. @Gen Henry, i troway salute.

      • Henry says:

        I hail my brother @donian007

  15. Blacrev says:

I really hope he’s okay o. cos in 9ja anything can happen.
I’ve not been comfortable not seeing updates from him these few days.

  16. Nnamdi says:

    #Gen Beeg on radio silence…

  17. igbi says:

Beegs I realy hope you are alright, I see everybody on this forum as my brother and beegs as the big brother, so I hope you are alright bro.

  18. beegeagle says:

Goodday, gentlemen. BEEGEAGLE here…no impostor on my trail either. It is with a deep sense of regret that we apologise for our inability to commune with you for most of this week.

The matter revolves around the “force majeure” which we declared on Sunday and as noted by the cybergenerals Makanaky and Saints. My opening comment in the thread below refers

    beegeagle says:
    June 9, 2013 at 12:28 pm(GMT)

At the time, perhaps not many of us felt we were saying something very meaningful. But the experience of this week stemmed from much of that. Some people do not seem to want us to respond to their jibes and half-truths.

Sadly, it sometimes feels like we are all alone when we fight these battles and the fact is that there are many mighty men of valour in our midst who should not let this happen.

With some luck, we got some reprieve yesterday and I quickly piled on the posts, before the enemy had any chance of striking, and moved on quietly. We are unscathed again today. That is why we are here. For how much longer, only heaven knows. We soldier on regardless.
