Gen, can u post the no.s and spec of the suncrafts. However, those angles don’t look stealthy.

This was designed in Germany while the actual construction work took place at the Nautica Nova Shipyards in Malaysia. Stealth technology has as much to do with the angles as with radar-absorbing construction materials and ‘obscured’ components which leave a pronounced heat signature. Look how ‘clean and free of clutter’ she is.

Anyway, a PAIR of them were commissioned in April 2009. They were acquired by the Yar’Adua-led FG.

Oh my, that’s aome good shot. I agree with you that radar absorbing paint plays a huge role in stealth, However, its the hard part as its simpler to put up a radar evading design than obtain radar absorbing paint. The aluminum is not the best option however its cheaper than stealth composites. Pls what’s the weight of this baby? I sure we can add 57mm,SSM and SAM to it. All these news is making me happy. Very soon, we’ll be in place to eradicate piracy etc of our coast and EEZ
