    No, you are wrong. That’s just a misconception. Being masked doesn’t mean you are a special operations forces operative.

    You differentiate a special operations member from a regular troop, by the badge usually worn by special operations forces on their left arm.

    Practically all the 800 troops serving in mali are issued with balaclavas and goggles to deal with the sand storm in mali. Are all the troops then special forces?

    Using a mask to differentiate the two groups is not correct.

    Oga giles,I read in an article that nigeria was also pulling out of darfur region,and that they had notified the UN about the withdrawal and the UN says they were speaking with members on possible replacements,the authur of the article(I’ve forgotten his name) stated that the pull out was in protest of the naming of the peace keeping operations commanding office not going to a nigerian general,.

    The UN should look for parade ground soldiers from Ghana to do the stupid PKO in Mali,Darfu,Liberia,Sierra Leone and Somalia!
