Oga beeg, the proforce quick respondse vehicle(first from the left)looks exactly like an uparmoured hilux u posted on an earlier thread that the pakistani army uses for ctcoin,
The other vehicles looks great,I’ll be feeling really hapi and fulfilled with all proforce is doing the day I hear they have designed and built an MBT for the nigerian army, but until then they are really making us proud.
Also oga beeg does any company in nigeria build ships for nigeria,??maybe they can build warships like proforce is doing for the army and what about the airforce?.

    • Ken Iwelumo says:

Warri based Mordant Marine Nigeria ltd builds fibre glass patrol boats for the Nigerian Navy and regular boats for civilians.

      • eyimola says:

        Wecome KEN, Huge Fan

      • beegeagle says:

Indeed, Ken and I HAVE TO do a collabo – I write, he shoots the photos. A guaranteed classic. We need to report from the AORs of JSTF, MJTF, STF and JTF and from Mali, Sudan, Liberia and Guinea Bissau where our troops are stationed.

Possible sponsors – Public Affairs Unit of the Presidency (Dr Okupe’s desk), Federal Ministry of Information, the Ministry of Defence and Defence HQ.

Over to the Ogas at the top. Come the day

      • BishopOfSapele says:

Could it be the same Iwe of Eric Manuel fame…..from our yesteryears in a much more halcyon Surulere?

      • Obix says:

Welcome Oga KEN! We apreciate your job. You and BEAG are the foremost defence reporters in the land . So we hope that a collaboration between you both will become a reality. Then the world will find out what happens when a “tornado teams up with a hurricane” for the good!

      • Obix says:

I meant “a tornado teams up with a volcano “

      • peccavi says:

Hi Oga Ken, I am hoping we will be seeing similar access from your firm and you’ll be on hand to answer questions. In the event you don’t know this blog has wide readership beyond Naija, all na marketing!

    • Bola David says:

Proforce is also into then building of Armoured Patrol Boats.

We read elsewhere online that they build the boats for the coastal states in Nigeria.

  2. wocon45 says:

Oga Johnbest1 am not too sure about proforce designing an MBT, but that will be an interesting news.

    • Bola David says:

Oga wocon45, you are right. It will be very interesting truly. Although we understand that production of MBT is at proposal and design stage @Proforce Defence. Great things are bound to happen in Nigeria.

It so nice that the Giant is waking up… Let the leadership act right and help the awakening of our great nation. Long Live the Federal Republic of Nigeria!!!

  3. beegeagle says:

Gentlemen, join me in welcoming Nigeria’s foremost defence and security events photographer, Mr KEN IWELUMO..a man whom I have severally proposed should join Beegeagle on a FG-sponsored tour of all operational theatres – Mali, Darfur, Liberia, Guinea Bissau.

Ken has brought us, among other things, photos from the Air Expo 2010 and Air Expo 2012. Beegeagle is proud of you, Ken and I am sure that most defence-savvy Nigerians are. Coincidentally, we appear to both hail from the same northern corner of Delta State🙂.

That said, I have in my own way promoted Modant Marine’s activities here. If they want us to come and see what they do, they can reach us backstage

  7. OGA KEN IWELUMO….our photo Oga at the top…We hail you ooh….Welcome to the community …Looking forward to ur collabo with Beeg Eagle’s blog!!!

    • beegeagle says:

AMEN. You guys should sing it aloud. It will come to pass because our Ogas at the Top appreciate the value of such a project for national mobilisation and positive communication which deviates from the global mainstream which tends to only dwell on the negative sides to the Nigeria story.

We shall continue impact attitudes positively from here. That, in addition to defence and security reportage, were the reasons behind the creation of this blog. Our world has been inundated with sad stories from Nigeria, to the utter exclusion of the many cheery sides to our stor -such as our contributions to global peacebuilding, Proforce, Modant Marine, Innoson, Dangote etc.

  8. G8T Nigeria says:

proforce will be good enough to challenge innoson motors only if the later venture into military hardwares. They re so good producing SUVs and buses in our dear Nigeria.

  9. Bola David says:

Gen. Beeg thanks for keeping us informed. Good works.

  10. beegeagle says:

Well, I took a photo of one armoured patrol boat on the factory floor at PROFORCE. You guys shall yet get to see the photo as we approach the end of our special focus on PROFORCE which has now gone on for eight days non-stop. I planned to make it a seven-day spotlight but have even overshot my mark🙂. Beegeagle’s Bloggers are loving it to the maximum though.

Yes, the next strategic goal at Proforce is the development of a battle tank. That was what I pointedly got told. On the evidence of the foregoing and given increased inflows on account of massive patronage by the FG, I have no doubts whatsoever about that project getting carried through to fruition.

    • BishopOfSapele says:

Marshall Beeg, was it strategically imprudent for Proforce to not require you not to post their strategic goals on this blog, knowing that patriots and bad belle peeps alike all come here now?

      • beegeagle says:

Bishop of Sapele, e tey small.

Well, from this point, they are bound to become FG pikins and technical partners to our military. So any haters are on their own. Insurance go soon cover Proforce. A good product needs no hard sell just as men diligent in their ways are fated to be numbered among the kings and princes of this land.

Bad belle nuh go work hia. Express don leave haters.

@JohnBest1. I recognised that fact a long time ago, homeboy. You know I can see your surname. One blood🙂

  11. johnbest1 says:

Oga beeg na all of us be delta state children, ama born and raised in warri.

  12. Tope says:

Welcome Mr Ken, our people say when Elephants move in the Jungle the Tree Shakes…..We are proud you have joined this Blog,we Welcome your opinions from a Picture angle that said Mr Beeg…has Proforce gotten any Patronization or even a Request from FG so far since this Focus has been on them so far? Its important we get people to SEE this ACV and APVs..

I still think ProForce should Take all 4 Vehicular Beauties to MOD and DHQ ASAP!!!

  13. Yagazie says:

Hi Ken, welcome to the blog – am also a great admirer of the millitary photos you post on the web. By the way- your name is familiar (from my past) do St. Gregorys College, Obalande Lagos and Eric Manuel Crescent ring a bell with you?

  14. Somoric says:

Oga Ken i do your pictures, technical accuracy and depth is second to none….. Big Up and keep it up for all the aviation afficinados who love your work. Moreover, look forward to a “collabo” with Beegeagle, General Beeg is sure doing the business and we have the most authoratative blog on Nigeria defence matters right here. We hope too see more beautiful pictures in due course. Hoping to get a signed coffee book soon..LOL
