Three suspected Boko Haram terrorists,
who allegedly came from Bama Council
Area on Saturday evening to invade the
El- Amin Daggash Mosque in Government
Reserved Area, GRA, in Maiduguri, Borno
State during Tafsir (Ramadan Preaching) attempting to kill the preacher, Modu
Mustapha, however, ran out of luck, as
they were lynched by an angry mob
before they could carry out their
dastardly act.

Our correspondent gathered that the
terrorists came in a Golf saloon car and
one tricycle armed with AK47 rifles and a pistol before they met their untimely
death.

Youths in Maiduguri have recently formed vigilante groups, aiding security agencies in its fight against the Boko Haram terrorists.

    Well done by the youths in Maiduguri, we need more of that in order to stop the insurgency. The bigger issues the Federal Government need to address urgently include the following:
    i) Who is funding these guys? We need to find and destroy the source of fund
    ii) Where are the funds and weapons coming from?
    iii) Who in government or civilian leadership know about these things?
    Until we cut funding and weapons supply from the source, there will not be a dearth of Boko Haram guys ready to die for their cause however illogical and unattainable their cause is.
