More on the combined special forces to be deployed to the NE.

For the troops to better prosecute their mission based on this training, it is imperative that they are also provided with the right gear ( communications system, weaponry and mobility).

Way to go Beegeagle !! Way to go !!

Welcome back sir. I hope the powers that be in our armed forces have met with you, or are planning to do so in the near future.

Please let me know anyway I can be of assistance to the smooth running of this blog.

Maybe, an account willing members can all contribute to, for your excursions, and procurement of military data.

This calls for a special Gbedu. Big stout on the house.

It is sad that the SU30s are going to Angola, but I always try to look on the bright side, although difficult as there isn’t any confirmation of what multi-role fighters the NFA is expecting, or if any at all.
Meanwhile our neighbours are increasing their capability as Niger recently had delivered 3 former French Army Air Corp Gazelle helicopters and built a hanger to take 6 helicopters. The Gazelles are armed with 20mm cannons.
Chad are expecting delivery of 2 C-27J medium transports and Cameroun recently had delivered a CN235 medium transport as well.
What about the Nigerian Army pilots and mechanics that were trained? Probably now losing hard earned skills from lack of flying etc and will most probably need refresher courses.
    Wake up MOD.

I even forgot to ask were the 6 Mi-17 terminator & 3 Mi-24/36 helicopters that were ordered are. Apart from the numbers being inadequate, surely they should have had an accelerated delivery schedule in place.
Anyway, I will try to unwind in a darkened room.

  5. rka says:

Hehe! Good luck with that. Seriously, one hopes the helios have been secretly inducted into the NAF’s composite wing in the NE.
