    More like it.

These patrol craft belong to the more useful 20+ metre category. Three more units to be delivered in a bit.

The platforms, operated under the auspices of the Maritime Guard Command of NIMASA (which is jointly staffed by naval personnel and NIMASA operatives and commanded by a Navy Captain), will boost anti-bunkering and anti-piracy patrols along the coast and in the waterways of the Niger Delta.

Any procurement of Vessel for anti-bunkering and Anti-piracy operation is great news, we should have bought Dozens yearly. One part of the news that is bewildering is why the Navy is not buying on behalf of NImasa and a private company is! I do sincerely hope we wont have quality issues here and that cost will be commensurate with quality.
