    it is official GUSAU will now be the defence minister for at least one year plus good luck to the Retired LT.GENERAL.

    Iam hoping that these three ex military officers have crossed paths and are familiar at least the former NSA and the chief of staff would of been in the same circles being that they are close in age.

    @Jimmy I am almost 100% certain paths would have crossed. Even possible Gusau was asked for his opinions on the new chief of staff as some point in the selection process.
    Having a military man as Chief of Staff in the presidency should almost be a standard from now on. There is a level of regimentation, order and reliability you need in that role. Also provides good support to the president in the CIC role

    WE NEED Some daggone jets and helicopters.
    Cant we first fix the obvious problems ?
    None of these appointments would make any difference if our CIC does not take the war budget out off Madame Okonjos hands.
    She is a brilliant lady, but has the wrong attitude for a nation at war.
