I am beginning to see a distinct marked departure from the past COAS style to the new COAS style . i am cautious in my assessment because this is still the honey moon period .However having said this we are seeing a much more marked departure whereby trouble makers are being dealt with MORE RUTHLESSLY and more PUNITIVELY , i am also seeing what i say bring more assets to bear WHEN A GOC visits just the state where the trouble is taking place it really means a lot because he is a two star general , has a relationship directly with his CHIEF ( NOT THAT HE GETS EVERYTHING HE WANTS but he will get the things he needs).
We are also more than aware now more than at anytime that the army is getting a lot of stuff as to what it is MAYBE OGA GBASH CAN ENLIGHTEN US BUT THEY ARE GETTING STUFF.
OGA AUGUSTINE, I have kept quiet because i really don’t know where you are coming from with some of your questions , and as a distinguished cyber general I am hoping we are all on the same path as to criticize constructively and proffer meaningful solution maybe i am wrong i hope that it is not to ask questions and the denigrate in return let me give you an example.
THE NN ARADU you asked quite a few questions as is your right to ask and when they were answered you went on a denigrating spree. For some of us it is personal because we have spent the better of two years trying to convince the powers that be to MORDERNIZE, STRIP THE ARADU BARE AND REMAKE HER . those comments you made believe it or not are read directly by people who carry the purse, who decide who gets what and who does not get anything at all.
Nigeria has problems and other countries would of CRUMBLED UNDER THE WEIGHT OF SUCH PROBLEMS. Nigeria is not A TOOTHLESS GIANT AS YOU ALLUDED TO . please be careful with your comments a lot of people all over the world read these comments and might be mistaken with your case scenarios that are more embedded in fantasy than reality, these are the same fantasies that led UKRAINE down the most dangerous path with Russia with no stinking help coming from the west except meaningless nonsensical sanctions.
IF A SHIP OR SUB were to come into Nigerian waters unannouced this would be a dangerous precedent and it will not be a open party Nigeria i believe has very powerful friends that will alert her and the following scenario will not be pretty in short let us deal with real life issues: re equipping, modernizing the armed forces .
    THANK YOU FOR YOUR TIME
    jimmy
