    Serious attempt at a kill.

Insurgents have blasted the Sh*t off that cobra….. Yet the vehicle still looks un-scared!!

an “Arsenal platform” weapon system concept applied to trailer-mounted multiple launch rocket systems, combining multi-mission capability and high combat versatility, extremely high combat load of ready-to-fire rockets with favorable operational and tactical mobility and advanced Weapon Management System coupled with Battlefield Management System enabling seamless integration into modern network centric battlefield.

The weapon system is based on a convertible multiple rocket launcher configurations mounted on 8×8 VOLAT cross-country truck tractor with semi-trailer
This version represents Self Propelled MLRS with 240 ready-to fire rockets. The weapon consists of quadruple 60-cell 122 mm Rocket Launcher in three Rocket Container Modules with 20 rockets per module sealed in transport/launching containers. Each of four triple 20-cell Rocket Container Modules is mounted at launching cradle, giving total combat load of 240 ready-to-fire rockets. The weapon is firing all standard 122mm rockets, including G-2000 with 40 km maximum range.

lol 240 rockets fired from one platform will be nice to see the effect

    • Bharat says:

Better to employ a battery of 6 launchers than this.

      • lachit says:

        ur no fun
        psycological effect
and i believe they are gonna become the precursor for future future weapon design for advance starfleet battleships

      • Are James says:

Sometimes you want to go for density.

      • lachit says:

there is no jack all trades
every system has its pros and cons
effectiveness of a system 90% of the time depends on the user
how much he is proficient with it and how well he has developed the combat doctrines
        to go with it
it is simply a matter of choice and perception,
the level of confidence one has in a weapon system
        general bharat prefers 6 launchers
general lachit prefers 1 laucher with the same power.
a clever military man always knows how to turn disadvantage into advantage
the only matter is u have to win

        @are James
u missed the part ***”psycological effect”***
u might want to digg into the annals of all the great battles fought from alexander onwards to arab israel conflict to present day iraq syria civil war to understand the meaning of psycological effect of unique and innovative weapon systems.
as a matter of fact it has nothing to do with my gravity or hollywoods gravity .
        cheers lol

    • lachit says:

yes thanks for showing me the real live one lol
looks like one of the MIDDLE EAST COUNTRIES already got it
      powerfull system if used intelligently
the only picture that comes to my mind is that of the arabs firing it at some angry camels

  5. Henry says:

It was designed by Turkey and the UAE, and currently in service with the UAE. It isn’t a practical system for actual war. Yeah…… Fine for COIN, but against actual militaries, it is just a big, bulky , slow target for Fighter jets to R*pe with relative ease.

    • lachit says:

nah it was not designed by Turkey and the UAE
its name is the DOMINATOR and was designed by serbia 100% sure

    • buchi says:

      lol heat signature executive

      • lachit says:

the heat signature can be managed by using Infrared smokes
One of the approaches is using an aerosol of burning red phosphorus particles and aluminium coated glass fibers; the infrared emissions of such smoke curtains hides the weaker emissions of colder objects behind it, but the effect is only short-lived. enough to relocate.
Other materials used as visible/infrared obscurants are micropulverized flakes of brass or graphite, particles of titanium dioxide, or terephthalic acid.
Some even work in both infrared and millimeter wave region. They include carbon fibers, metal coated fibers or glass particles, metal microwires, particles of iron and of suitable polymers.
The brass particles used in some infrared smoke grenades are typically composed of 70% copper and 30% zinc. They are shaped as irregular flakes with a diameter of about 1.7 µm and thickness of 80-320 nm.
all these infrared smoke generators are mounted on specially adapted vehicles for battlefield use. An example of the latter is the M56 Coyote generator.

Oga Buchi. I respect your hustle sir.
Ya head dey dierr gidi gan
hehehehe. i go collect the bottle of orijin tho.. hehehe, man must shakk 🙂

  6. buchi says:

Oga lachit ..all the above suggestion only masks the heat signature for a short duration ..even in that short duration the ability of this long man to make a fast get away..however I was tinkering with the idea of improvizing with ship.bound ciwes guns..mounted on heavy chassis(4×4) truck placed close to the main objective being this mlrs system,SAMs(static or mobile) to act as a sort of anti harm gun..using the same principle as a ship bound ciwes would act like a smaller replica of the isreaeli iron dome..
this mobile ciwes gun system with mid range radar system possible Italian grill will detect SEAD Ordinances at 2,000 to 1,000 feet nd engage in 360′ rotational sequence..
an improvised AK-630 or kashtan will do just fine..

    • lachit says:

yes ur are correct in ur assesment that these mask heat signature for a short time
but there exits specialized smoke generating machines to create huge amount of smoke that can last longer

and ur certainly right to send as escort mobile ciws like chinese ld 2000 americam rams etc to protect the mbrl from guided missile/bombs .

whenever u field any platform in battle u take into account all the possible weapons the enemy can throw at u and so u take along counter weapons against it
eg if the chinese decide to attack ur mbrl from the sky u better take along ciws ,sams etc etc
if niger decides to attack u just take 4 or 6 manpads along with the mbrl

  7. ugobassey says:

A more practical yet very affordable heat signature would be deploying a tank load of liquid carbon dioxide (dry ice) while firing the MRLs. A tanker load is capable of covering 3 to 4 square miles. To compensate for its low density have the tanker nozzle pointed up while shooting out the gas at high velocity.
